Final Fantasy 15 is the latest video game in the long running Final Fantasy series, and from what we can tell, this latest addition might turn out to be the best one yet. It won’t be an easy task to carry out, but it is not impossible either.
In a recent Square Enix E3 livestream, Final Fantasy 15 game director, Hajima Tabata, explained that the game will feature over 200 hours’ worth of gameplay, something that will certainly cause for excitement among fans and new players alike. The 200 hours include extra content, which will likely be DLC
From what we have come to understand, it should take players around 40 to 50 hours to complete the main story. But like most players, they will likely finish all the quests before tackling the last aspect of the storyline in order to be strong enough to face the final boss.
Here’s what Tabata had to say via the Square Enix E3 2016 livestream:
“In terms of clearing the main story, we’re anticipating about 40 to 50 hours of gameplay,” Tabata said on the Square Enix E3 livestream. “So at the very least, there’ll be 40 hours’ worth of content to enjoy in the final game.”
He also spoke about upcoming DLC the company is working on for later release.
“With just the extra stuff alone, we’re looking at maybe 100 hours of gameplay,” he said. ”So if you count all of that, maybe we’re looking at 200 hours of gameplay… the final version of the game coming out–about 200 hours total.”
“Final Fantasy 15” in its current state is not perfect, so fans should expect improvements when the final game hit store shelves later in the year when it releases on September 30, 2016, for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
