Reservoir Dogs is one of the best movies of all time. It was released back in 1992, and it’s all about the events of a diamonds heist. The movie takes place before and after the heist, which is one of the unique aspects of the film.
Now, it’s been 25-years since Reservoir Dogs was released in theaters, and with that, Lionsgate wants to celebrate in a big way. The company has decided to team up with Big Star Games to deliver a title known as Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days. The game is filled with drama and tension that are similar to the movie, so long time fans should find something to enjoy here.
“As huge fans of Reservoir Dogs, we’re very focused on creating a highly addictive experience that stays true to the tense, dramatic vibe of this unforgettable movie,” said Liam Patton, CEO, Big Star Games. “By taking control of different characters for overlapping bursts of time, players must utilize the strengths of each squad member to carry out the game’s missions, with every move and shot creating a butterfly effect on the overall outcome.”
Ability to bend time
Reservoir Dogs: Bloody Days comes with a feature known as “Time Back.” It’s an interesting gameplay mechanic that allows the player to slow down time. The feature will likely be used during difficult gameplay sequences or just whenever the player feels the need to let loose.
Characters from the film
Fans of the film will be happy to know several characters will make appearances in the game. The option is there to control characters such as Mr. Blonde, Mr. Blue, Mr. Brown, Mr. Orange, Mr. Pink, and Mr. White when going on heists.
The game will launch first for PC via Steam in the Spring, then for the Xbox One at a later date.
