Microsoft Announces Three New Games for Xbox One Game Pass
With the Christmas season just right around the corner, Microsoft has chosen to update the Game Pass service for the Xbox One with three new games, and they are not bad at all.
This move is quite surprising because, at the recently held X018, Microsoft announced that 16 games were coming to Game Pass, and they include the likes of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Ori and the Blind Forest, and much more.
Many thought the 16 announced games would be the last addition to Game Pass for the rest of 2018, but such is not the case as clearly seen here.
Here’s the list of new games coming to Game Pass very soon along with their descriptions:
The Gardens Between (November 29)
The Gardens Between is a surreal puzzle adventure that follows best friends, Arina and Frendt, as they fall into a mysterious world of beautiful garden islands. Manipulate time to solve puzzles and discover the secrets of each island.
Mutant Year Zero (December 4)
A tactical adventure game combining the turn-based combat of XCOM with story, exploration, stealth, and strategy. Take control of a team of Mutants navigating a post-human Earth. Created by a team including former HITMAN leads and the designer of PAYDAY.
Strange Brigade (December 6)
Embark on an exotic journey into danger in this rip-roaring 1930s third-person adventure for 1-4 players! Encounter pulse-pounding action, treacherous traps, and tales of derring-do!
We have to say, these games might not be the best of the bunch, but getting to play them for the cool price of $10 per month is a deal. If you like them, then the option is there to purchase instead of having to pay a subscription.
As it stands right now, Game Pass has over 100 hundred games and counting that are ready to play the moment you sign up. It’s the best service the Xbox One has to offer, which is why Microsoft has made it possible for new subscribers to get their first month for $1.
