China’s Upcoming IoT Conference Could Change the World

Last updated:

The Internet of Things (IoT), is the future of our lives, and with the rise of 5G, that future is closer than many might realize. One of the leaders in the IoT space is no other but China. In a bid to keep developers interested, a conference will be held in the country and it’s called IoT for Industry and Energy.

We understand that this conference will take place on September 10 in the city of Wenzhou, which is located east of China’s Zhejiang Province. There will be a maximum of 12 exhibition areas at the four-day conference, and as expected, many of them will focus much on 5G, energy, and other aspects of technology.

At this moment, we are not certain in any international institute will attend the conference due to the current trade war between China and the United States, but we can say for certain that China Machinery Industry Federation, China Federation of Industrial Economics, and other Chinese institutes will be in attendance.

When it comes down to the Internet of Things, we know that China takes this very seriously, as it is one of the key areas of its Made in China 2025 plans. Furthermore, the United States and Europe are also making big moves in this area, so it’s safe to say the world will differ a great deal in the next 10 to 15-years.

Hopefully, by then, the United States and China will abandon this trade war and focus on peace and prosperity around the world.
