SAA Insurance - SAA Artists Insurance for Exhibitions | SAA Membership

SAA members have access to insurance coverage from the Group Insurance Policies. However, these policies will be assigned to eligible members. Its insurance cover membership paintings at exhibitions whereby offering you peace of mind that your painting or artworks are safely covered from damage or loss. In other words, SAA insurance is an artists insurance for exhibitions that offers you coverage on your treasured artwork during the exhibition from damage or loss.  

In addition, the SAA membership insurance policy also includes additional benefits from third-party public liability from Group Insurance Policies. The benefits of this help to give you peace of mind that your students and club members public are covered with liability coverage from any accident during the event like personal injury or property damage.

What is Included in SAA Insurance Coverage?

Any artist is accepted to join SAA as a member and the membership will includes coverage under SAA Group Insurance (UK & ROI only). However, factors that determine what will be included in your coverage is based on your type of membership.

Another type of membership is Overseas, but currently only includes exhibition coverage under the Group Insurance Policies.  

Simple Guide to SAA Insurance

According to the insurance guide, you don’t need to register at all. The insurance cover is included in your membership type. However, all SAA member benefits through the exhibitions insurance based on the SAS’s group policy as standard. There is no application or registration needed to register your painting for insurance cover before the event. How to Become SAA Membership

Just like I mentioned earlier, becoming a SAA member allows you to enjoy the several benefits as a member and also access to group insurance cover. There are different types of membership and also the coverage. However, everything is listed above, all you need to do is select a preferable coverage that suits you.

  • Go to SAA Membership.  
  • Scroll down and select your choice of membership.
  • Select the number of members in your club.
  • Then, click Add to basket.

Finally, you can proceed to go to checkout. Once you’ve completed the completed, automatically you have been included in SAA Insurance Group based on the benefits of your membership type. Keep in mind, SAA Group Insurance cover does not include any 3D artwork.
